Why deadline reminders matter

Every UK company has two recurring deadlines at Companies House: its annual accounts and its confirmation statement. Miss the accounts deadline and the penalty is automatic, starting at £150 and rising to £1,500 the later you are, and it doubles if you file late two years running. A late confirmation statement can, over time, put the company at risk of being struck off the register.

The dates are public, but nobody at Companies House chases you before they pass. That's the gap we close: we watch your deadlines and give you plenty of warning, so filing on time is never a surprise. We only remind you, we don't file for you and we're not your accountant or agent. If you have an accountant they may already handle it, this is your own safety net.

And it's the same record your customers read

When someone is about to pay you a deposit, extend you credit or take you on as a supplier, they can look you up on the public record in seconds, the same way TradeChecker does. Overdue accounts, an opaque ownership structure or a dormant-looking filing history all read as risk. Checking your own company shows you exactly what they'll see, so you can fix a bad impression before it costs you the work.

Deadlines and company data are taken from the public Companies House record. Penalty figures are Companies House's published late-filing penalties for private companies and can change, always check the current figures on GOV.UK. This is general information, not legal or accounting advice.
